This compact 1 day course covers all the essential skills and knowledge to run a trampoline service. Perfect if your team is new to rebound, just getting started or need a refresher.

ReboundEssentials is a compact one-day course designed to equip staff with the core knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver safe, purposeful trampoline sessions. It’s ideal for teams who are new to rebound therapy, setting up a new service, or looking to refresh their skills and confidence. The day focuses on the key principles that underpin effective and inclusive rebound practice—covering safety, posture, communication, and graded movement techniques. Participants will learn how to prepare the trampoline environment, position and support individuals safely, and adapt sessions to meet a wide range of physical and learning needs. Practical, hands-on learning forms the heart of the day, allowing participants to build both competence and confidence in real-world application. By the end of the course, learners will be able to: • Safely set up and manage a rebound therapy environment. • Apply essential handling, positioning, and facilitation skills. • Understand how to tailor sessions to individual ability and purpose. • Recognise contraindications and manage risk appropriately. • Deliver enjoyable, effective, and evidence-based rebound sessions. Rebound Essentials provides a strong foundation for anyone working with individuals who have complex physical or learning needs, and serves as an ideal first step before progressing to advanced or embedded-practice training.

Designed for education staff and professionals working with learners who have profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), this one-day course builds on the core skills taught in Rebound Essentials and applies them through an educational lens. Rebound Education explores how trampoline-based activities can enrich every area of the curriculum—from communication and interaction to physical development, sensory exploration, emotional regulation, and cognition. Participants will discover how rebound sessions can be planned and delivered to support learning targets, stimulate engagement, and reinforce classroom objectives through movement. The course combines discussion, demonstration, and hands-on experience on the trampoline. Learners will take part in structured activities and creative games designed to promote communication, anticipation, and shared attention, all while maintaining safety and purposeful use of rebound principles. By the end of the course, participants will be able to: • Deliver fun, safe, and educational rebound sessions aligned with learning outcomes. • Adapt activities and games to suit individual ability and classroom themes. • Recognise how rebound supports engagement, sensory learning, and communication. • Confidently use rebound therapy to extend and reinforce the PMLD curriculum. The day develops advanced skills in planning, facilitation, and therapeutic application—linking rebound sessions directly to physical, sensory, and communication outcomes. The course incorporates the LD Therapy Courses Rebound Wall Chart and Flashcards, which provide a clear visual framework for structuring sessions. These resources help guide progression, inspire new exercise ideas, and introduce refined facilitation techniques that bring variety and focus to therapy delivery. Through discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to analyse movement, set meaningful goals, and adapt techniques to individual needs.
